After a disappointing showing at the 3HL Oshawa Showcase, the London 3’s announced their final roster, which includes a plethora of professional hockey experience.
Joining the already strong 3’s squad is Paul McIlveen, Mike Burgoyne and Tyler Townsend.
McIlveen, a Waterloo,ON native brings eight years of professional hockey experience to London, playing in the AHL,ECHL, DEL,CHL and the Metal Ligaen of Denmark. In 255 games in the ECHL, McIlveen netted 81 goals while adding 115 assists for 196 points. In his junior career, McIlveen played with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles(QMJHL) and the Ottawa 67’s where he tallied over a point a game(128 PTS in 127 GP).
Burgoyne, a Hamilton,ON native has played professional hockey in the UHL, ECHL, CHL and now the 3HL. He also played pro in Europe in the Netherlands, Romania and the UK.
Townsend, a product of Tavistock played his junior career in the OPJHL, USHL and EOJHL. After junior, Townsend spent time in the CIS with Wilfrid Laurier before playing professional hockey in Germany and the CHL.
